Witch Virgin Mary apparitions at Green Bay-area shrine recognized as first in U.S.

A shrine in the town of Green Bay is one of only a handful in the world — and the sole location in the United States — officially designated as a place where the Virgin Mary appeared.

$5'000.00 for a plywood door?

At this price, you could buy Heaven's Gate.

Default Toledo man sees Christ, Virgin Mary in Christmas candy

Quote:
It seems to happen every few months: someone sees an image of Christ -- in everything from French toast to a grilled-cheese sandwich.

Now just a few days before Christmas, a West Toledo semi-retired man thinks he's found the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus in a piece of hard holiday candy.

After all, as Burrows points out, He is the reason for the season.
No actually I think the tilt of the Earth in relation to the sun is the reason for the season. Also, all I see is some white dots. I guess it is another example of look hard enigh tand you can see what you want to see.

Default Virgin Mary Image Seen Inside Bakery

Quote:
Sorpresa Bakery in Socorro is no typical bakery. The workers and customers say they've seen the image of the Virgin Mary.
And those who haven't seen the image are asked to take a look. It's not on the sweet bread or in the tortillas sold here at the bakery. Instead, it's a reflection of some sorts on the window.

Icon215 Wisconsin on the Map to Pray with Mary

In France, the shrine at Lourdes is surrounded by hundreds of hotels and has received as many as 45,000 pilgrims in a single day. Our Lady of Guadalupe, in Mexico, draws millions of fervent worshipers a year.

Now, a little chapel among Wisconsin dairy farms, called Our Lady of Good Help, has joined that august company in terms of religious status, if not global fame. This month, it became one of only about a dozen sites worldwide, and the first in the United States, where apparitions of the Virgin Mary have been officially validated by the Roman Catholic Church.

Balducci says he's not "overly religious," but the appearance of the Messiah has him questioning his beliefs.
If a knothole in a piece of wood is sufficient to get to someone to start questioning his beliefs, I don't understand why the whole world isn't Christian.

Vanishing

When she took this photo of dramatic cliffs soaring above a churning sea, Caroline Gray was hoping for a memorable landscape shot.

What she got was a portrait – of a ghostly figure she believes looks like the Virgin Mary.

That's the clearest picture of the virgin Mary with a tankard of beer, that I've ever seen.

It's Holy Thursday, and look who decided to drop by.

Gerry Petit, from North Carolina, is due to have surgery for an injured shoulder and went into hospital for an X-ray.

When doctors showed him his scans, he noticed a familiar image right where he was feeling the pain.

Default 'Holy Turtle' Found on 'Day of Rapture'

While there has not yet been a second coming of Christ (as of this writing) on this day of Rapture, there was at least one holy sign for the faithful to embrace in northwest suburban Streamwood.

A printing company employee out on her break picked up a tiny turtle and was immediately struck by its markings.

"Right away, to her it resembled the Virgin Mary," said Ronnie Chavez in retelling his mom's Saturday morning tale.
