Bush on Harriet Meyers: she's a good bowler
I could've sworn I heard this when Meyers was nominated to the Supreme Court, but could I have misheard? I cannot imagine any president, when asked why someone should be appointed to the SC, replying: "she's a good bowler". Talk about your non-sequiters!
