Comment: I received this attachment in an e-mail regarding the
Virginia Beach Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals thanking Michael Vick for taking in 14 pit bull terriers displaced by hurricane Katrina. With the recent revelations about his involvement in dog fighting, I am wondering if this is legitimate or just a sick joke?

Very poorly done fake: the text on the bottom looks added in, missing commas, and "hurricane" should be capitalized.

Well, I didn't find anything at the VA Beach SPCA web site, though I didn't look that hard. I would think that if the adoption story were true and they were happy enough to make a poster about it, they would have it prominently on their web site.
The top of the poster is a dead match for the top of the web site, so the image was probably snagged from there. Bee |

I vote fake. I also did a quick search through the Katrina section & found nothing. Also, I don't think they had the same color scheme on the website back then, they just copied the current to make it look updated. I say personal photo (he's trying to be gangster, omg!)...It's sad when my home territory is varnished.

Would a real poster display his address?

I also just noticed that it only says he helped pits...that's too obvious to be real, the shelter helps many breeds and I really don't think allows catering to one specific breed even if by a celebrity endorser.
