Oops....I searched the whole thread to see if anyone had mentioned the anus thing, and somehow missed that TuFurg beat me to it.

It is no doubt an amazing example of skill and endurance, but if I saw that first hand, I would wee myself laughing. It is very clever, and a feat of mind over matter, but the finished effect reminds me of a sock puppet.

Only if there ends up being scar tissue, which is always a risk with tattooing. Probably no more a risk than in, say, circumcision.
