Comment: I always heard that comic books would never name a character
Clint or use the word Flick because in the print the letters "L" and "I" would tend to run togetehr & resemble instead the letter "U" thus changing the meaning of the words drastically. I cannot remember the name of the comic book but there was supposed to have been a 1-shot issue printed by an independent publisher that poked fun at this by naming the main character Clint Flicker. |

An example here: "Don't be an old fuss-budget Clint..."
There is an adult comic by the same name done by Anthony Vokojevich and published by Robot Publishing. Google can pull some strips up but it's really NFBSK and NSFW. And not particularly interesting. |

I had a friend in high school who did the "writing clint in capital letters" jape, but on her arm with some scissors. Good times.
