Heh, there are a couple of the more tin foil hat types here at work smuggly pointing out that they never trusted mobile phones in the first place and don't use them etc etc
We're sat here wondering why law enforcement agencies would be interested in paleontology and long-winded discussions about golf ![]() Of course, the 'if you've got nothing to hide' arguement wears a little thin after a while doesn't it? |

The FBI can't even get it's computer system up and running properly. And we're supposed to believe they can monitor cell phones? Besides, if they're off, there probably isn't a lot of conversing going on...

Wow, that's amazing! The phone can be off, use absolutely no battery, yet it still can transmit a signal back to "The Man"?
They should unleash that technology for hybrid or electric cars! Battery-less electronics -- KEWL... -Tim |

Actually the FBI did do it to listen in on alleged Mafia members.
http://news.zdnet.com/2100-1035_22-6140191.html I remember seeing this on CNN and Fox news months ago as well. I don't know if all cell phone models can do this. |
