Comment: Please publish the true story about Shelley Yates, the woman who,
with her 4-year-old son, Evan, drowned in a car accident in 2002, had a near death encounter with angels, and following their explicit and highly unorthodox instructions, helped restore her son to life after three days. She has an interesting story. see http://www.firethegrid.com. Here is one of two articles originally published in The National Post reprinted in full at Water Rescue News http://forums.firehouse.com/archive/...p/t-42567.html (scroll down to 11-30-02.) Originals available in the paper's archives at http://www.fpinfomart.ca/ar/ar_result.php?page=1 (search on Shelley Yates) |

Comment: Can you include an analysis of the story that during the oil
embargo of the 1970's, Henry Kissinger took control of oil tankers inbound to the U.S. and dumped the oil at sea in order to raise prices of gasoline to American consumers. Far fetched, I know, but the people who believe this story need something authoritative like Snopes to dissuade them. |

Well, at least the first person said "please". And while I've never heard either story, the second one does at least sound like a snopes-worthy UL.

Comment: Great service you provide. My brother-in-law and his wife claim
they went to church and had their fillings changed to gold by the preachers sermon. I've known these people for 35 years and they have always been sane sensilbe people, I couldn't believe that they could be taken in like this. I looked it up on the net and found lots of references to it. I am curious that you have not debunked it. Over the years I have received questionable Emails that I immediately looked up on your page and sent back results. The fact that you haven't covered this almost gives it creditability, please rectify this. Occured to me that maybe you won't touch it because of the religious element? |

I'm guessing that snopes won't touch it because of the "ridiculous" element.

Because, of course, there are absolutely no religious ULs on the main page. None whatsoever. A search of Jesus, for instance, yields 17 hits. But they're all about Jesus Gonzalez, the infamous soccer player-turned-clown.
