Cool!

I can't wait to see if this goes anywhere. Anyone know any good UFO sites that will be working this one over?

Crash

What's new about this? Haut's claims came out a long time ago and have already been discussed in detail, for example in Phillip Klass's book:
http://www.csicop.org/si/9805/roswell-coverup.html
He died and left a piece of paper reiterating and expanding on his ever-more complex and completely unfounded fantasy. It's not even new that this is news. His previous "signed afidavits" were also supposed to tell the "true story".

Oops, sorry about that. Nevermind! I'll change my story. He's actually a reliable witness. It's not as if he had anything to gain from making the story more and more elaborate.

You've shot yourself in the foot there, ganzfield. There are very clear photos at that link of UFOs with aliens standing outside them. Dis is da troof.

The report concluded that the Roswell incident had been attributable to something called Project Mogul, a top secret project using high-altitude balloons to carry sensor equipment into the upper atmosphere, listening forevidence of Soviet nuclear tests.

The statements concerning a crashed weather balloon had been a cover story, they admitted, but not to hide the truth about extraterrestrials.

A second US Air Force report concluded claims bodies were recovered were generated by people having seen crash test dummies that were dropped from the balloons.
Which is more weird? A spy mission or UFOs?

Spy mission == boring
UFOs == excitiing

Therefore, it must be UFOs....

Note that I knew (he's dead now) someone who was part of the Project Mogul, or part of the UFO coverup.

I have a friend that has now changed her whole belief in UFOs and aliens due to this "confession."
