Blow Your Top Tiger Woods' furniture

Comment: The US Open was held here in the greater Pittsburgh area last
week - Oakmont, PA to be specific. The word is that Tiger Woods rented a
mansion, had all of the furniture removed and had all of his furniture
flown in so that he would 'be at home' during the tournament. Thinking
that his mom and dad raised someone a little more grounded that that I
have had a hard time believing the story.

Was his wife with him? I missed this story if true (the US Open was covered voraciously here by the Pittsburgh media). Didn't she give birth just after the tournament?

Somehow I think this is a true UL. Especially given that he expected to withdraw at and moment to be home for the birth of his child. And what would his wife sit on at home???

Quite the generalization there. Not all families are built the same.

Nevertheless, it would be inconvenient and costly to do this - particularly when it is clear that, based on his games before and after he achieved fame and fortune, Tiger has no problem winning regardless of the tournament location.

Weezy, I wish I could tell whether you're being deliberately ironic.

I don't see the problem. He's got a bazillion bucks. I've seen stupider ways of spending money.
I mean, at first it's shocking, but after a little, I think, why not? He's got the money to do it.
Now, if he demanded the tournament do this and foot the bill, I'd be pissed.

Why? Would the PGA come and take money out of your pocket to cover the cost?

I guess Weezy has become an Orwellian un-person.

Tiger is also very ficsally conservative. It would very much suprise me for him to do this.

It sure sounds like a goofy UL to me but I suppose if he likes his furniture that much he could buy a set of 'road furniture' to take with him. Sure beats having moving people in and out of your house on a regular basis.
