Default A swallow roosts under our carport every night

There is a swallow that roosts under our carport every night on a hook installed to hold a basket. Not sure why but he has been there almost every night for several weeks. Flies away during the day.

He's obviously hooked on a railing. This bird's in love with you. Especially if his song sounds like ooga chaka.

He made it back last night meaning he survived the heavy rain yesterday. I hope he made it through this afternoon's storm.

For the swallow's safety, I think you'd better snap a pic and share it with us.

Yes, so we here at The Snopes Critter Protection Agency (SCPA) can check to make sure its home is in a secure place.

Alas, the swallow wasn't there the last few nights. And we are now out of town for a week so it will be a while before we can check on him.

When we got home last night after midnight in the middle of a thunderstorm, no swallow. I hope he didn't go explodey.
