Icon19 Fun with extraterrestrial objects

I have my doubts that the reactions shown here are all real:

Uh ... okay? Now what?

If I heard a crash and I turned around and saw that satellite smashed into a car I'd also be shocked ... mostly that someone had made a horrible Sputnik-looking fake satellite and stuck a US flag on it. Seriously, even the Vanguard satellites had solar cells and stuff stuck on their surface and weren't plain metallic spheres. They were also only about the size of a baseball and Sputnik was also much much smaller than the 'satellite' in the video. I guess they thought that people's ideas of what satellites look like were still based on old cartoons so they decided to stick to a 1950s design sense?

Having been a fan of that show for years and years, the reality is that they do the pranks dozens of times and only put the two or three best reactions on the show.

Given that many people in Montreal are not that curious about space exploration, satellites or aliens, I can believe this did happen quite as portrayed (at least in the more outrageous ones).
