Researchers will visit Michigan's Upper Peninsula to search for evidence of the hairy manlike creature known as "Bigfoot" or "Sasquatch."

The expedition will center in eastern Marquette County, following the most recent Bigfoot eyewitness account, said Matthew Moneymaker of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.

"We'll be looking for evidence supporting a presence. ... We hope to meet local people who might have seen a Sasquatch or heard of someone else who had an encounter," Moneymaker told the Daily Press of Escanaba.
So, the "Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization" is looking for evidence supporting evidence of Bigfoot? That's odd...

I have some relatives who are "into" this sort of thing (I wonder if they are members). They actually go out into "remote" areas looking for bigfoot (they should just find my son... ).

It's odd.

So bottom line is this sort of "research" is going on all the time.

I recently read an internet article that there was a family of 'Bigfoot' (or should that be 'Bigfeet'?) leaving at Camp Maxey National Guard Base near Paris Texas. I and many of my friends have spent long evenings there and never seen any signs of Bigfoot. Surely this can't be a UL???

It would probably be easier to spot the BEH (Baboon Extra Head) than the actual bigfoot. Try looking for that next time.

Are there any of our Michigan Snopsters going to go on the hunt? Show of hands please.

Oddly, the plural of "Bigfoot" is "Bigtootsies."

Thank you Brad. I shall file that away to use when needed. Always good to have a professor in the 'family'.
