Sorry about the smelly neighborhood. I hope it's one of those nights where you can keep the windows closed.

I have to listen to music via my iPhone when I go on long car trips, since there are no good radio stations where I live, just Christian Preaching and Country Music and by Country Music, I mean the shitty modern kind that's basically just vapid pop music with a twang and references to pickups sprinkled in. Bah, I say! Give me some Johnny Cash any day of the week.

A tangentially-related rant: "Body Like a Back Road" is a really stupid song. Yeah, that sounds like a compliment, comparing your girl's body to a rutted, muddy, pot-hole filled gravel road. Maybe compare her to a summer's day or something more romantic.

I don't know the song, but might the comparison that a back road is "curvy"?

You sure it's not because people are always throwing trash at her whenever they drive by?

I don't think it's that complicated. It simply means her body doesn't appear on Google maps.

When they were dating, my dad took a picture of my mom standing next to a sign that read "Sharp Curves."

I think it is that a back road is curvy but back roads are also bumpy and rough. Another bad comparison (to me at least) in that song is how her thighs are like honey, thick and sweet. Pretty sure most women would not like their thighs to be described as "thick".

Still not the worst romance song*. That honor goes to "Angel" by Shaggy for the immortal line, "closer than my peeps you are to me, baby" with special mention of the fact that it is using the melody from "Angel of the Morning".

* That one doesn't count as it's a stalker song.

So that means "every breath you take" wouldn't count either, because it's a SUPER stalker song?

No "either", that's the exact one I was referring to.

My handbag charm (wasn't sure what to call it), is manufactured with two layers of "embossed fabric" which doesn't seem to be glued very well. The other end of the charm has this strange angel, whose head is attached at the mouth, which means the head keeps rotating and she ends up headless. (Like the yellow angel on this ebay posting.)

I would like to just have the logo, which is what they changed to, since I bought mine.

I'd go with "Butterfly" by Crazy Town and the line 'Girl, it's me and you like Sid and Nancy...'

Quite possibly true; but women who do have thick thighs might be quite pleased to hear thick thighs praised, and described as "sweet".

Heard it again this morning and it is her hips, not thighs described thusly. Which is even odder as "thick" is an unusual way to describe hips. Also, this weird comparison:

"Now me and her go way back like Cadillac seats."

I killed my tablet again. I might try to get it fixed, but in the meantime (since I have the money), I bought another one and this time I bought the protection package.

Right now, after having to change my computer, I'm trying to recover my music files. Poblem i that on iTunes, if you can download what you bought earlier on their cloud, you can't do it twice. So, if you've made a bad manipulation, it's over, and you can't even buy your tunes again. Frustrating, to say the least.

I forgot to put on my watch this morning so my left wrist feels naked.

The front seat in Cadillacs recline further than regular/other car seats? I know my Toyota goes back almost as far as my La-z Boy... if there's no one in the back seat.

Tantrum

Last night was overcast, so I did not get to see the super blue blood moon/lunar eclipse.

I thought that was yesterday morning when it would appear? To me, it just looked as if there were clouds in front of the moon.

It was yesterday morning.

And it was heavily overcast here so there wasn't any chance of seeing anything.
