This isn't exactly news to me. I thought I'd heard that the suicide right goes up after the holiday, because many people who are suicidal wait until after the holidays so as not to dampen others' spirits at the time.

I kind of like the idea of Blue Christmas services for those experiencing personal losses around the holidays.

Of course, Blue Christmas is my favorite holiday song.
