I noticed that you can still hear the original version on certain channels after a certain time of night, like when I watch TNT during the day they play the "edited" version, but if you watch TNT in the evening they'll play the original. They only play the "edited" version on networks like NBC, but on networks like VH1 it's always the original version.

Reporter Sounds almost like a certain "Laugh-In" catchphrase

As in "You bet your sweet biffy!"

("Biffy," IIBC, is Canadian slang, Prairies especially, for "outhouse.")

In a slightly-related vein bordering on the off-topic such, let's not forget that Arthur Godfrey's radio programme was once sponsored by Bayer Aspirin, which Godfrey always pronounced "bare-ass-prin"--and managed to get past the censors @ CBS in the process.

Glasses

The phrase is actually "You bet your sweet bippy."

I liked this one, too. "Look that up in your Funk and Wagnall's."

This got me to wondering about another commericial that I think changed.

If you've seen it....It's a guy at an outdoor barbeque/cocktail party, struggling to get ice in his glass with ice tongs. He picks up a cube, it pops out and skitters across the table, and all his friends are sitting there watching, mocking, and laughing. So, he very carefully measures out a shot of Bailey's, pours it in the ice bucket, sticks a straw in it, and walks away with the whole bucket.

I could SWEAR the first couple of times I saw it, he emptied the bottle of Bailey's in the bucket before walking away.

I imagine that someone must have complained about it promoting overconsumption or something, but it's just stupid now....like it'd be worth it to chase ONE SHOT of a drink around a huge ice bucket with a straw.
