Tasteless and horrifying memes

I dislike political memes in general, though I suppose they have their place. But one I got on my Facebook newsfeed yesterday just disgusts me. It's one of those "Stop Hillary Clinton" ones. The typical political memes are bad enough, as I think the facts are generally pretty distorted, and I've learned to ignore them. But this particular one not only had the Liberals blah blah blah stuff, it also had a still picture of one of the beheaded hostages with his head laying on top of his chest. Not the sanitized media safe version, but the graphic, fully inclusive one. I really did not need to see that pop up on my screen as I was eating dinner. So I posted something about it being tasteless, and of course, the response accused me of being unpatriotic, among other things. How can people be so tasteless? I'm sure this poor man's loved ones are "thrilled" to see his death reduced to a political meme. Gah!

If anyone did that to me on Facebook I'd block them first and report them second*. I'd also likely never want to have anything to do with them ever again.

*I don't know if Facebook would remove this kind of image, but they should.

Someone posted one on my FB of some people jumping out of the the WTC towers after the planes hit with the caption "This is why I don't care that terrorists were tortured".
