Read This! Reader calls attention to e-mail scam

Several readers recommended that folks check out the Internet site Snopes.com if they're unsure about something they've received on the Internet that seems a little fishy.

That's excellent advice. Snopes has a search engine that allows you to type in, say, "cell phone numbers" and it will tell you everything you need to know about the mass e-mail in question.

I tried typing stuff into the search engine, and it doesn't work. Clearly, that Snopes site is useless.

Celll phone has three l's, right?
