Default “Frog and Toad”: An Amphibious Celebration of Same-Sex Love

http://www.newyorker.com/books/page-...-same-sex-love
I loved these books. They make me think of my Gramp who read them to me. He was the only person who could babysit me as a baby...I would wail if anyone else did. I'm told it made my Nana quite cross. They lived next door and I spent many, many summer days with Gramp swimming in the pond, mucking about in the woods, collecting golf balls and learning to be a card shark.

Lobel's books are such treasures. I can't read "Tear Water Tea" (in Owl At Home) without tearing up myself. But Frog and Toad are the best.
