t made its humble debut at a single stand in the late 1980s next to Big Al’s Coonskin Caps in Frontierland. Slowly it spread — dripping, always dripping — beyond Walt Disney World here to Disneyland in California.
Disney’s latest megahit is no ride. It’s a turkey leg. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/28/bu...-stomachs.html |

Those things are delicious, but they are crazy messy. They really are huge! Usually Casey and I can split one. And for a Disney World lunch, a shared turkey leg is really pretty cheap.

My current favorite food at the parks is at the German pavilion at EPCOT and my favorite desert is at the Japan pavilion (green tea shave ice.) |

I had my first Turkey Leg last month after many Disney trips.
Eh. The turkey itself was good, maybe a tad dry, but I guess I don't know what the fuss is. Maybe the novelty of it and it's different from usual park fare. |

The turkey legs are also popular at Renaissance Festivals. I always joke "what is that, an ostrich leg" because they are so big.
