Computer Link styles

I turned off the underlining for hyperlinks to make this board's style match the "regular" board's style. What do you think? Do you prefer underlining or no underlining?

No underlining. I found the underlining to be a bit jarring.

I suppose I've gotten so used to the no underline format that any little change is enough to throw my entire universe into doubt.

You know how it is.

I kind of like the "no underline" style, but I'm used to dealing with both so I really don't mind either way.

I have no problem either way. Lines look messy, but my universe would be intact if the board used them.

I remember someone complaining once, that he had to search through an entire post to find the link, because he was color blind and couldn't see that there was red text on the page.

Maybe we could set them to green then?

I don't have a problem with either style, so what ever works for you works for me.

This is probably one o the down sides to having me as a tester, I'm pretty laid back about most things.

I like lines.

but then again, I use dropdown menus instead of icon toolbars. Old habits.

Like others, I'm pretty laid back about this. However, I seem to recall that on my regular computer I have it set to underline links when I hover over them, so I expect if I didn't like lines I could set my browser to override it to my preferences.

I'm good without the lines, but it wouldn't bother me if they were there, either.

But blue or purple would work. (So would yellow. But that wouldn't be very easy to read.)

I like it without underlines. The underlines remind me of some bit of spyware we had a problem with a while ago. I think the links are easy enough to identify with out the underlines.

I was going to post about the need for underlining, but found this thread.

I prefer the underlining. The color difference on my screen is negligible, and depending on how people write their link verbiage, it's not always evident there's a link available. That's why I usually try and make it VERY evident there's a link when I post them.

I hate underlines, but would love more of a color difference between regular text and hyperlinks.

I started making sure I bolded my links when posting after I realized I missed a few in posts and noticed others bolding theirs.
