No, it was the other way around since that Gould was noted for teaching evolution. All good Texans know evolution is just a theory like global warming. Why, we even have the tracks of dinosaurs along side the tracks of men in Glen Rose. Heck we got more tracks in Texas of every kind than any one else has tracks of any kind. We even sing about it in our state song "The eyes of tracks are upon you." That is the 4th verse for those who thought it was only "The eyes of Texas."

Just a general question in terms of US laws but -- how common is it to attach a compleetly unrelated provision to a new law?
I mean -- how does anything get passed? If i wanted to stop a bill preventing the sale of food to poor people, just attach a bill that says "every time a person who makes more than minimum wage breathes, they have to paint a donky blue" of course it wouldnt get passed because there are not enough donkeys to paint -- but really how is that even a practise? |

a) The legislature may require that proposed amendments to a bill also be approved by the legislature. b) The executive may have line-item veto power which allows him to strike out such provisions in the bills he signs into law. |
