Bonsai Kitten A frozen feline is thawed out after she was found in a snowbank

Quote:
Fluffy the cat buried in snow was brought in to a vet frozen and unresponsive. Her temperature was very low but after many hours she recovered and is now completely normal.

Hello Kitty

1 down, 8 to go.

It is lucky that she was found and helped.

WTG Fluffy!

I know, right? How could one tell cat from snowball? The poor thing! And so very lucky to have been found when she was!

Amazing. I'm very glad that she's staying indoors now. I hope she is too. Seems like an experience that ought to make a cat appreciate a warm house.

She is a spitting image of one of our cats. Who normally comes in covered in twigs and stuff. We have to shave her with beard clippers twice a year to get all the tags out!

It must have been terrifying to find her like that. It's really good that they realized she was still alive, and were able to get her help in time.

Yeah, very much so, Thorny Locust.

This is yet another argument in favor of keeping your cat indoors.

The local TV news station covered this and while they had positive things to say, I'm always taken aback by people who chuckle at this kind of story- I imagine if it had been a dog, the emotional frame to the story would have been different.
