Another link, in case you need a Facebook account to see the first:

I like how he mentions (spoilers for people who aren't watching trailers) the Master.

I am not sure that means anything other then mentioning past enemies. We can hope though.

I don't think so either but if I hadn't put that bit in spoilers, people who had chosen to not watch the trailer would be losing their minds saying I'd spoiled them, since they have no context for the comment.

I got cold chills when the little Weeping Angel blew out the match.

Can't wait for it all to get started again

Default RIP Mary Tamm, “Doctor Who”‘s Romana I

Mary Tamm, who brilliantly played the first incarnation of Romana to Tom Baker’s Doctor, has passed away from cancer at the age of 62.

That was mentioned earlier in the thread, but yes. I was quite sad. Sadder still that none of my other Whovian chums knew who she was >_<

This was posted on the Doctor Who Facebook page:

Quote:
Don't miss a world premiere "Insider" look at the new season of ‘Doctor Who,’ this Sunday night during the series premiere of 'Copper' at 10/9 Central, only on BBC America.
I won't be able to catch it though, because I have to watch me some Breaking Bad. (I really need to rethink getting a DV-R.) Hopefully, BBC America will squeeze in an encore showing between reruns of Top Gear.

Oh yeah. I meant to post this awhile ago when I was here. Apparently Anthony Sturat Head of "Buffy the Vampire" fame (as well as other shows) is a "Dr Who" fan and was keen to play the doctor in the new series. They seem to have gone for younger generations though. But it does explain his involvement in the series.

Pond Life (starting today, 5 mini-episodes leading up to Asylum of the Daleks). No idea if it's viewable in the U.S. and/or BBCAmerica has it.

Hmm - I'm curious - was what the Doctor was doing by the fire when Mata Hari walked in lost on those on the western side of the Atlantic?

Um, he was toasting something on the poker? It looked like what we would call an "English" muffin.
