Comment: Thank you for your site. I use the information on a regular
basis.I send what I find on to others with glee as yet another hateful
myth or slander is proven untrue. For the first time, today, I just surfed
around. I was rewarded with the sad,beautiful, heart filling story about
Friday Mornings at The Pentagon, written by a millitary press man. I'll
enjoy passing this to my friends, especially my millitary friends....and
the constant haters. Until we find a new way of thinkin; beyond war, we
must honor those that serve. I do believe we can have peace.It is my
fervant hope that peace can be gained and maintained by "vigilant
awareness" and particpation by all sects of society. I'm trying badly to
emulate something I think Jefferson said. Now I'm doubting who said it.
LOL I guess I could look it up on your site : ) Thanks for being a
resource that allows for such awareness and, in a sense, a flicker in the
flame of justice.

Thank you for all you do to bring truth and facts into the public
discourse. People are afraid and lashing out at all sorts of things,
especially in politics and cultural relationships. Lies are speeding from
email to email and it seems to be getting worse. Your fact-based
responses (with references!) are so refreshing and necessary, I applaud
you and your work. My friends and relatives are the recipients of your
articles and, though they get annoyed, they respect your work, too.

need to "debunk" some of the ridiculous emails I routinely receive. I can
confidently respond to these types of emails with a simple "FALSE - refer
to Snopes.com", or something similar. You provide a much-needed service
on the web. Hope you will continue doing so for a long time to come.

there aren't a ton of you working on this colossal task but you do what

I just feel like I use your site too frequently to not express my
gratitude. The internet is great because there's so much immediate
information available, but it's also so lame because so much of that
information is just crap. And you work (seemingly) tirelessly to help me
stay as well-informed as I can.

Comment: I love Snopes. Most recently i enjoyed the latest Warren Buffet
article, "Hometown Buffett." And, i love the wordplay -- in particular,
what drove me to write this compliment was Barbara's "Warren piece"
signature on that article. That's a classic!

About a year ago I got a memo telling how your site was so one-sided and
