Theme Icon Christmas cards for boy with leukemia

Comment: so this was on facebook......

***SHARING THIS POST FROM A FRIEND**

"A very good friend of one of my soroity sister's mother is an oncology
nurse at WVU Hospitals. Each year the nurses on her floor buy gifts for
the patients that will unfortunately be in the hospital for Christmas.
This year, her patient is an 8 year old boy, diagnosed with Leukemia. When
they asked him what kind of gifts he would like, he told them that he
would like to receive 1 Million Christm...as Cards."

So I'm asking for your help if you could send at least 1 card to Max, it
might help him reach his goal of 1 million!
The address is:

Ruby Memorial Hospital
Attn: 9 West/Max
1 Medical Center Drive
Morgantown, WV 26506-8110

Thank you so much! Merry Christmas!

Ambulance

Comment: There's a kid in Michigan who has leukemia. You know what he
wants for Christmas? Nope, not an XBox or a bike. He wants Christmas
cards. I'm sending one. Will you? His address is Joey Caretti, 22671 Eddy
Drive, Macomb, Michigan 48044. When it comes to a sick kid's wish, I don't
think 44 cents is too much to ask. Repost if you'll send him a card.
(this is true! Christmas and get well cards)

Having known a family who went through this, I don't think these families realize what they are getting into. It may seem like an uplifting thing to do, but in this era of facebook and twitter these things can grow out of control really fast and can become more of a burden than a blessing.

Yeah and does the boy in question really comprehend how big an number a million is?
