It's a cougar, on a bridge in Pullman, Washington. Home of the wazoo cougars. It took me a while because I thought their mascot was beer.

ETA: East Main Street bridge.

This is it.

I didn't want to post a guess because I had insider knowledge of Seaboe's whereabouts on the date of the photo.

Aha, a mountain lion, not a normal lion... I would have found it if I'd realised that...

Okay, now it's Beach's turn.

I was a little surprised when I tried to Google it that just searching on Cougar Bridge didn't work. Even specifying Washington only helped a little.

The other picture I'd've used had a WSU banner in it. I took it just in case.

I did grow up in Washington state which is what lead me to wazoo based on the Cougar.

I happen to have have put this picture aside thinking of this challenge:

A rest stop, near Clare Michigan.

I won't have a photo handy until I go home and upload (or scan) something, so anyone with an available picture can go next.

Also, I meant to let Richard know that I tend to give my photos numbered names in order to make it faster to label them. So, I took three pictures of the bridge and they're labeled bridge1, bridge2 and bridge3.

Yes, one of the Michigan Welcome Centers. This one just happens to be dead center in the middle of the state.

Just for that, GaryM, here's a picture of the Stonehenge War Memorial. Built by the wondrous Sam Hill.

Or the Ghost Parking Lot (now, alas, gone). It was still in pretty good shape when I lived in Hamden, back in the late 80s.

I just had a go at the Geoguessr game from the previous page, as you should be able to see from the link, my worst guess was Maine for Wisconsin. Seriously, folks of Wisconsin, road signs! Road signs are good, there are no invaders to confuse, just put up some signs!
On the bright side, I got the latitude pretty much spot on! ;-)

I was very lucky with this game. Loads of road signs that put me in the right place, except for Texas that was a guess.

Curse you! Now I'm addicted to this game. Plus, it's fun "driving" down one-lane roads in Botswana or Finland or Taiwan or wherever. I just got a score of 32380, but was lucky in each instance to find a hint not too far from the starting point. Last night I "drove" around forever on two of the rounds and found no hints at all; I had to resort to trying to identify the types of trees, and that didn't work well at all.

Ok my first three spots were seriously sadistic- nearly clueless landscape that could of been a few miles from my house. The second one at least had some of those iconic African trees that you find in the savannah. The Canadian one had a river name over a crossing and the last had the looks of the Eastern European steppe but nothing to narrow it down more.
