Default AXE "Wash your balls" commercial

Comment: Is the AXE dirty balls commercial real?

Real in that I saw it on Cable TV not long ago (a shorter version, of course, that ended at the African-American ball-sack)

Axe's name is dropped so low they are doing infomercials now.

Ignoring the double entendre, a bar of dry soap isn't going to clean anything. Somewhat misleading.

I recognize one of the guys in the audience, he played Wade Collins in the "iRocked the Vote" episode. Jamie Pressly from My Name is Earl is the ball-washer in this commercial.

"Fake" can mean a lot of things when it comes to commercials. It could have been made up by some random person (clearly not the case here), a mock-up from and advertising agency hoping to win Axe's business, or a spoof for something like Funny or Die. I doubt it's either of the first two options because they hired one well-known actress and have a few recognizable people in the crowd. That seems like it's beyond the capabilities of a random person and too expensive for a mock-up. If it was for a spoof it would probably have the website or TV show's logo somewhere.

I think it's pretty clear that the add is real and was at least meant to be viewed online. Ryda's having seen part of it as a cable commercial is another point towards it being an authentic Axe commercial.

I am surprised there has not been an outcry about the racial angle - after cleaning the golf balls, a white guy holds up tennis balls, and after those, a black guy holds up a duffel-sizedsack of soccerballs/footballs, and asks something like "can it take care of my great big ball sack?" Of course, the stereotype of black male genital size has usually only been as to the penis, but in the context of this clip, it seems like a pretty blatant play on that stereotype.

I've also seen it--I'm pretty sure I was watching Comedy Central at the time.

Oh Ryda, you're taking all the fun out of this game. Don't you know that some of us click into certain topics just to see your contribution to the subject I'm not kidding. Play with us, pleeeze? The ball (pun intended) is in your court.

I've got a nice sausage you can have. It has been cut though, I don't know if you like your sausage whole.

Pah. What do you arizonians know about delicious, plump, juicy sausages?

thanks. I'm hungry in more ways than one.

Para, when you send that food, can you send a nice helping of totally uninhibited and kinky man with it?

Thanks!

Ryda

Its a real commercial, it airs pretty regularly on comedy central online (there are a few 'versions' of it which are all this commercial but cut down depending on how long they have allotted (most of them start after the two women are at the counter and end after the taller woman fondles the golf balls).

1; I just drove through your town a few weeks ago when I was on my way here. I had a package you would've loved. It was full of some hot Italians and some Wisconsin bratwurst.

2; I'm already spoken for

Eddie and Ryda were probably typing at the same time. Oddmakers in these parts have Ryda winning in a walkover.

If you are already spoken for, then it is rude to taunt Ryda with your package.

PS. Also, I can't see Ryda serving anyone. But I can see her hitting balls.

Hmph. Fine. Taunt me. Surely you have some unattached friends that could deliver their sausage packages to denver?
