Borg Star Wars VII shakeup: Screenwriter leaves, Star Wars legend returns

A year after being named sole screenwriter of 'Star Wars: Episode VII,' Oscar award winner Michael Arndt is leaving the project, leaving Episode VII in the hands of director J.J. Abrams and Star Wars alum Lawrence Kasdan.

If Lawrence Kazden can recapture the magic of Star Wars and Raiders when he was involved in those projects, the film is in good hands writing-wise. Its the other variable in the film-making process that I'm a little concerned about, but we'll see.
