Enchanting_eyes! Good to see from you!

Also other people popping in here who I haven't seen much from lately -- hope there will be more when we get over to the new boards.

S'mai bawb:

From what I remember from the last time we changed boards, the big concern was that everyone kept their post count Hopefully we'll get a some nice new people on the board.

Ta ra 'wan,

It's been a while. In the years since it's been my mom and grandma passed away, we added a tiny white floof to the house and Joe Bentley retired from the Navy and we're still happily ever after married.

I'm sorry for your losses. Both of them in a fairly short time, that must have been hard.

Hugs for the new white floof and the continued happy marriage, though.

-- to be totally trivial, I just realized I'm probably going to lose my strawberry.

Thanks. It's been really hard. My grandma passed away in September, right around the time my mom ( her daughter ) passed away. They are buried side by side.

This board will always be special to me, it's here where me and my husband met, it's here where we sent PM after PM until we exchange email addresses. It's been over ten years now.

Most of my favourite people are on this board and it's good to hear from you all again, though I get that people move on. I'm extremely grateful for all the things the members of this board have taught me over the years, not to mention all the Great Debates and fun conversations. They're literally the best conversations I've ever had.

I hope the new board has posting icons (I guess they're now emoticons).

At least, somebody needs to import thwacky, and tomato in the face guy, and spit-take guy. And we can't do without book reader and glasses push-upper! Gah!

We'll probably get the standard set of emojis that every messaging service has now, don't you think?

Glasses

We certainly do need to retain the glasses-pushing-up guy.

Witch

I was reminded of one of the photo challenges (one of mine, in fact), in which you were to represent one of our smileys on their day off. I did the pink faced witch, and I think I have that image on my computer at home.

Also, some of the photo challenge winners ended up on a Jigsaw Puzzle website; as I recall, someone uploaded them for their personal entertainment, but they ended up on there for all the world to discover. Including us.

Should I be worried about your 'circus' picture on that site? Or want to put the jigsaw together for 'product placement?'

What about a new photo challenge first thing on the new board?

Question: Are we going to be able to upload (Our own, of course) photos to the new digs? Will we still need to find a "host" for them?
