time to plumb the depths of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s database of emergency room visits. We’re looking for the weirdest, least explicable, and most awkward objects that America has shoved inside its various holes. God bless us, everyone.

When I read the headline, I thought this was going to be an op-ed about how horribly "PC" everyone is these days. How pleasantly surprising it was to find an article about objects lodged in people's orifices instead!

How??

Welp, I have a new irrational fear.

“ENTERTAINING GUESTS BY INSERTING THE WOODEN LEG OF A CHAIR INTO HIS RECTUM”
Think I'll decline the RSVP for that party.

It is a line of horribly cute small, squish-able collectibles.

This almost happened to me once. I was outside, had a can of Coke. Set it down for a minute, went back to it and took a mouthful. I could tell something was in it and immediately spit it out onto the ground. There, writhing in the puddle of cola was a - probably very confused - bee. I didn't get stung, thankfully, but it's horrifying to imagine how I might have.

It did happen to my ex's uncle. I never want to hear the noise he made again.

Also, these people have interesting parties.
