‘Amazing Kreskin’ offers to fix ‘fiscal cliff’

For some reason, I always thought that the Amazing Kreskin was the character Johnny Carson did where he would give answers to questions he had not read. I only got more confused when the linked article talked about Kreskin on the Tonight Show.

I'm straightened out now (that was Carnak the Magnificent). But reading this article, it seems that Kreskin may actually be starting to believe his own hype. That is kind of sad.

Nope, I remember Kreskin from a syndicated show he had back in probably the early 1970's. He would do the standard thing of facing his studio audience and say, "Someone here is thinking about a deceased relative..." or whatever, and by gosh, usually, someone was! How amazing.

Hadn't heard of him in a good thirty years though, probably.

Assuming he is 100% legit and able to do what he says*, the last place anyone is going to let him is near the president. I highly doubt he has the security clearance required to know the stuff that is in either of those brains.

*which I realize is a smidge unlikely.
