Shifty Eyes First-Person Pac-Man

http://www.kongregate.com/games/briderider/fps-man

Just as the title says, it's Pac-Man from a first-person perspective. A simple change that turns the classic arcade game into survival horror.

I can't play it right now because it requires me to install a plug I'd rather not install on my work computer, but that's not the first time someone's made a first person Pac-Man style game. I had 3-Demon on my computer when I was a kid. At the time I thought it was funny that when you got eaten by a ghost a giant pair of jaws would close over the entire screen.

And I found a video of 3-Demon http://youtu.be/J0JGd_itBVk

The music makes the new one much creepier, but otherwise pretty much the same concept with better graphics.

In fairness it's more than just changing the perspective to 1st person, they also change the music, sound effects, etc.

That said it is interesting how changing the perspective and the music can totally change the game even if the art and gameplay styles are left the same.
