This is part of why I question their dedication about not having the other three "named" decorations.

I've never heard of a christmas mat, but I've heard of a wreath, a garland and a chris(tmas) tree...

My mother and quite a few of the neighbors have different door mats for the different seasons/holidays. I even had one I used to put out, but it was just a wintry scene, along with the Christmas decorations.

I stopped putting it out when we all got matching door mats. Yes, I do live in Switzerland.
