He hadn't plugged it in, so it wouldn't have a full charge. And I guess it takes a long time to charge, so he couldn't be charging it (or not enough) while he was eating Attonement Dinner.

Maybe the author is assuming she's dead by 2022 (although she'd only be 68).

ETA: Maybe the oppressors instituted a retirement age for SCOTUS justices as a pretext to get rid of conservatives.

Except the BMW doesn't in the real world. Only the Tesla Roadster gets close to that in the real world cases. And since it was Thanksgiving, it wouldn't be out of line for the brother to be using the heater, which cuts the range considerably.

I didn't get this either at first, but it all makes sense when he gets around to explaining that the issue is that racial profiling was outlawed, so everyone gets searched equally. The right wing is all about civil liberties if they are the ones getting their cavities searched.

The Nissan Leaf, depending on driving conditions. Built in solar cells and regenerative braking can stretch the range to around 240-250km.

It's the earliest version I have been able to find. In addition, these sites also list Arnold Ahlert as the author. On the other hand, most sites (like this one, for example) don't list an author. However, I've noticed with email forwards in general and glurge in particular the author's name tends to disappear rather quickly as they mutate.
