Icon22 Fresh cut ... what?!

Comment:

I wonder if they come in different colors?
I wonder about the fragrance?
I wonder if it would help to put those preservative packets in the water?
I wonder if they bloom?
I wonder whether they would look better on the kitchen table or in the entry?
I wonder if they're cheaper by the dozen?
I wonder if they come in long-stemmed?

Captured at 115th and Allisonville Rd. in Fishers (Indianapolis). The sign is real and was up for two hours before someone stopped and told them how to spell PEONIES!

The problem with that sign is that it is far to easy for someone the remove and rearrange the letters.

That seems like a good explanation.

BTW, that place is just down the street from me.

I have a favorite snapshot of my own (not yet digitized, or I'd link to it) taken while on a road trip through Georgia.

It was a restaurant sign (similar to the nursery sign pictured) advertising "Hot Wangs."

Well, that's the way it's pronounced.

A local movie theater had a marquee with removable letters, and the bottom section was low enough that someone standing on a tall bloke's shoulders could easily reach and rearrange it. A couple of acquaintances of mine were notorious for doing that. They even had a stash of letters so they could add to a title. Eventually the theater moved the sign up (it's one of those LED programmable things now)

Or the sign was changed once they sold out. When you mistakenly order a shipment of fresh cut penis, you then have to unload a shipment of fresh cut penis.

Imagine their surprise when that shipment order was delivered!

I was driving by the sign in the OP today and noticed you don't even need a ladder to reach the letters; you can reach them from ground level.

It looks that way from the photo. I've not seen too many of them where the letters are that easy to reach-usually they're up higher to avoid such shenanigans. Course, then you have to go buy the special pole with the suction cup on the end to change letters, and that runs into money.

There's a company near here that rents the portable marquees, and they're dumb enough to park a few out front to advertise. The letters are always getting rearranged.

Is that $7.99 per pound, or per phallus?
