Default Something either distressing or sweet (Stolen meerkat pup returned)

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-09-2...vered/10293996

Obviously someone took entirely the wrong message from Meerkat Manor.

Also, this is like Fortunately/Unfortunately in a single story.

JnP, please review snopes' posting guidelines in the FAQ:

Quote:
2) Use a descriptive topic name when starting a new thread, a title that reflects the subject matter of your post. Topic names such as "I just got this in e-mail," "Here's another one," or "Yuck!" are not good choices. One question mark or exclamation point per subject line, please.
More specifically, it has been standard practice on this board for years to use the headline of the article you're linking to as your post title, and then quote one or two relevant lines from the article as a preview so we know what it's about.

Many of us have urged you to stop being cryptic with your posts. Please.

I agree Cervus. I especially like the part that says he edited the OP. For clarity?

It’s not hard to start a thread, Jnp. I find it really weird that you haven’t figured out how to do so by now.

Yeah but why not use the clear title of the article. And a clear sentence or two from the article as well. I don’t want to pick on him, but every one of his posts seems to be going out of its way to be obscure. And so many people have asked him to stop doing it that it’s just bizarre at this point.

And I only just learned how hard it is to change the title of the thread. As in, like, five seconds before I clicked “quote”.

But it's easy to do when you are composing a post. So, you know how to do it for next time.

Also, I pretty much exclusively post from my phone. It's not super convenient, but it's also not super hard to cut and paste. You.can absolutely post an article title and quote a paragraph or two, and then follow the quote if you like with a few (noncryptic) lines explaining why you are posting it.
