I would probably stick to the tried & true, updated for the modern world: Queen Elizabeth's Revenge.

Nope. Liars, Guns, and Money is the name of a Farscape episode.

And I kept reading it as "Liars, Guns, and Monkey" until just now. I mean, it is a suggestion for Gutter Monkey after all (And I had to double check to make sure his name wasn't actually "Gutter Money" and I'd just been misreading it this whole time).

I'm a bit rubbish at thinking of pirate ship names. The Golden Behind is obvious and suitably childish, but not very inventive. For myself I'd be tempted to go with Baroness Trumpington's Response but it's a bit obscure and irrelevant to Australia. And for Australia I can only go with the usual clichés really. The Shackled Wallaby? Barbary Barbie? Up A Gum Tree? Billabong Buccaneer? That's Not A Cutlass!? The Crooked Cassowary? Waltzing My Tiller? OK, that's enough.

Snake

Question: will this vessel be preying predominately upon fellow Australians? If so, I recommend calling it either Bullfrog or, failing that, Chazwazza. As anyone who knows anything will attest to, there ain’t nothin' that'll ruin an aussy's day quicker'n bullfrogs on the loose down under.

I'm also reminded of George R R Martin's old scifi book Tuf Voyaging where the protagonist's trade ship was called the Cornucopia of Excellent Goods at Low Prices.

Is it true that running over cane toads with lawnmowers is a popular activity in some parts of Australia?

Because while I'm normally opposed to animal cruelty, for cane toads I'd make an exception.

Yep. Also whacking them with golf clubs and swerving all over the road to hit them. Skip to 40 minutes in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SBLf1tsoaw
