Default Cold Casualties: Sharksicles And Frozen Iguanas

Quote:
In Florida, it's raining iguanas. And in Cape Cod, Mass., sharksicles are washing ashore.

The unusual cold that has slammed the U.S. East Coast is wreaking havoc with wildlife, particularly the cold-blooded variety.

Snake

I saw on a news site that some sea turtles were rescued from the Gulf of Mexico; rewarmed; and then released.
The site is WTOP.com.
Wonder how much those turtles weigh? A couple hundred pounds?
ETA: I'll look it up later.

Depends on the species. The Gulf of Mexico is home to most species of sea turtles, including the leatherback, which can grow to more than half a ton.

I want to point out, preemptively, that, no, neither The Sharksicles nor Frozen Iguanas would make a good band name. No. But, for once, they do both make good bad band names.
