Cow Sask. Ranchers Stunned As Beaver Herds 150 Cattle

Quote:
On Friday, Ivey and her husband were surprised to see 150 of their heifers crowded together in one of their pastures.

Curious about the strange behaviour, they investigated further, to find the herd of cattle following a beaver that had wandered along.

I hope the cattle didn't follow the beaver right into a pond

Misleading headline.

According to the story and the farmers quoted, the cattle were following the beaver, probably because they were trying to figure out what it was; they weren't being herded by it.

Still made for an interesting day in the pasture, though!

ETA: Ieuan, I bet the beaver was hoping the same thing.

Dog Curious Cows Follow Dog All Around Field

Cows don't seem to be too picky about who or what they follow around fields

Quote:
These cows always follow a 16-year-old chocolate lab around the field during walks.

"Where are you going, odd small cow?"

But I hate it when people mix up "phased" and "fazed."
