Hartless said he has suffered from vomiting, nightmares and emotional distress. He said he also has incurred medical expenses, because he's worried about whether the condom had been used.
What kind of medical expenses could someone have if they were worried that they had momentary oral contact with latex and perhaps stale semen? And wouldn't it be easy to tell if it had been used?

These kind of reactions are usually the tell-tale sign of either a fraud or someone who needed serious mental help before their latex lunch.

I had a co-worker who had a similar story at Don Pablo, but when she brought it to the attention of the staff, it turned out to be a finger cot. Still not great to find in your food, but much less worrying than a condom, or for that matter, the bandaid the finger cot was meant to cover.

I'd imagine a battery of tests for STDs would be a possible expense. And, unpleasant as it sounds, with the various condiments on a burger, it probably wouldn't be that easy to tell.

Perhaps someone was merely attempting to practise safe sex, and...ya know...wrap their Whopper.

Wanderwoman, I'd just like to say that having eaten at Don Pablo's about 2,000 times over the last ten years of my life... eeeeewwww.

Not that that'll change my obsessive Don Pablo's eating, but hey... I probably COULD find a condom in my food there and it wouldn't change anything.

Icon02 Owner: Condom-in-Sandwich Claim Untrue

The owner of a Burger King franchise says there's no merit to a man's claim that he bit into an unwrapped condom while eating a sandwich he bought there.

Remember the jingle, "It takes two hands, to handle a whopper".

I gotta wonder if thats not a possibility here. Depending on the guy, he might actually think that a finger cot is the same size as a condom...

Neither link works for me so I can't read I would think that it would be easy enough to test for fluids before he underwent any tests for STDS though.
