I've been following the posts on "checking snopes.com before forwarding dumb e-mails." facebook account.

An unrelated (officially) facebook page, but I really hope you don't get the same comments. on yours. Wishful thinking...

I'm sure we will, but such are the perils of "social" media.

You'd think that if all those people were "paid by Soros", they'd drive nicer cars.

My car is a 2001 Taurus; his is a 2008 Mazda 3. Mind you, that doesn't prove a thing - we could still be millionaires but just not very good at it.

I'm happy about this because so much of what has been presented over the past few years have been "like if you..." pictures and mis-attributed quotes being shared; this way, it might happen that a picture your friends share is automatically presented with the snopes commentary below ("Aunt Mabel and snopes.com are talking about...")

Sometimes millionaires are the most frugal people you know- that's how they became millionaires (but usually not the "I can afford a Senator" level of millionaireity).

Hey, that's doesn't necessarily mean they'd be wealthy. Maybe they're terrible negotiators or were willing to sell out in exchange for just a modest salary from Soros.

I figured they used it to buy the loyalty of all of us brainwashed minions.

Hey, where's my pony?

Of course, they had me at "Sources:".

If you pronounce it with just the right bit of mumble, sources sounds suspiciously like Soros!!

And it's not like you'd admit to those Ferraris in this thread anyway. Besides which, where would the hitch-hiker sit in a Ferrari with the two of you? Barbara, you clearly weren't there when snopes picked her up. No wonder he's hiding it! The facts don't fit!
