Ash looks prettier every time I see him. Do you find you have less of a matting problem as he has gotten older?

Thanks!

I've only run into fur mats once, several months ago. Despite the length of his fur, he's been pretty much mat free!

The only big issue we have to deal with is klingons.

Surely you know tinsel needs to be warmed before it is used?

... and the lights, and my Christmas village, and the boxes I keep my ornaments in, and the stockings I put on the floor while digging other items out of the storage totes and...

Everything has been well and truly warmed and cat-furred. Thanks Ash!

There are plenty of ornaments around to be knocked off the tree, don't know why Ash is so grumpy. Maybe because he can't sit on the tinsel, lights, stockings, boxes, garland, etc.

Not quite a hijack, but there is an aisle label at the local WalMart saying "Shatter-proof Ornaments". Every time I see that I think of Pixel saying "challenge accepted".

Thank you!

I'm kind of sad that Charlotte's getting older and doesn't sleep on her back quite so much (she's 3 months old now). Now she sleeps more like a normal cat and it's cute and all, but not DEADFROMCUTE cute.

New Year's Eve was tough on Shayna. She does sleep in interesting positions.

I bet she woke up with one hell of a crick in her neck!
Here is Flanders in the Cone of Shame. She had some warty growths removed from her left eye yesterday. She has to wear the COS until the 21st when she goes back to the vet for stitches removal/follow-up. I told her I'd post a photo of her online so everyone can feel sorry for her.

Bailey squirmed her way up the sleeve of one of E*E's coats. She stayed there for a good 20 minutes and seemed perfectly content.

It's funny how so many dogs just placidly accept the Cone of Shame. I've never seen one struggle or try to tear it off. They always seem to accept it with an attitude of "What are the humans doing to me now?"

Last time I had to protect Birdie from pulling out stitches, I tried one of those inflatable pillow collars, and it worked pretty well. It had to be more comfortable than the ol' CoS.
