Computer Wikiball

I just discovered this game where the idea is to get from one Wikipedia page to another by following links. For example, a random page to the "Featured Article", which is currently Michael Brown Okinawa assault incident.

My random page was Montalembert (disambiguation) -> Andr de Montalembert -> Franco-Ottoman Alliance -> Crimean War -> British Empire -> United States -> United States Armed Forces -> United States Forces Japan -> Michael Brown Okinawa assault incident (8 steps)

Another variant is to try to get to Hitler. If this works for a thread, though, then we should probably go from one random page to another, or it might get repetitive.

So two random pages:

Try to get from National Physical Fitness Award to Tormod Knutsen.

As usual the first to do so gets to post another pair, and if there's more than one route then the shorter wins... (eta) Par 7, because that's the number of steps in the route I just found.

Aww, shucks. I can do it in 7 steps (well, 4-5 steps if the wiki pages were in more detail). I'll give you a hint, though: Everything is, sooner or later, connected to Aristotle.

I've got 8 steps but you can probably get shorter:

Wyndham Lewis
W H Auden
Pennines
Moorland
Tundra
Moss
Vascular Plant
Fern
Pteridophyte

It took longer to get to Pteridophytes than I'd thought from the general "nature" area, which was where I was going in choosing Auden - I was hoping there'd be more links to ferns from moorland... again I found pages that mentioned them but without a link.

If I've not been beaten yet, then the next two are:

Bu Ju to Nafma

Hmm, all my ones seem to have obvious links to start with.

I've just been using the "random article" link - click twice for the two articles. Nothing creative involved... If you do have an interesting idea for two pages then that would be fine too, though. I suspect "Chloe" to "Thomas the Tank Engine" wasn't generated randomly.

Ha ha. I think it should be outside the rules to use anything except the links in the article and text. (I was even wondering whether the category pages at the bottom might be cheating, but I guess it's up to you whether you're a "purist" or not...)

So if Don Enrico hasn't any:
