Comment: Your comments on the Feb 4 speech that Putin gave were simply not
true. I picked up my phone and dialed a friend from NZ who watched it
live on Russian TV. You also tried to muddy the waters about a John
Howard speech given in the wake of a street war between Australian bikers
and Muslim youth. I was there and heard the speech. Why lie? I don't
trust Snopes any more.

D'oh!

Comment: In this article,
http://www.snopes.com/politics/satire/potfoodstamps.asp, you say that a
Colorado accepting food stamps for food containing marijuana is false. Is
this article wrong too?

No, that article is legit. The National Report they quote extensively and based their entire story on is a totally different publication because there are often two competing publications with the same name.

Comment: Your article here:
http://www.snopes.com/politics/satire/potfoodstamps.asp

is misleading. Marijuana dispensaries in Colorado are accepting EBT.

Comment: Regarding your recent article titled Share a Coke 'Mambo No. 5'
you cite the Coca-Cola search engine as justification that those names
don't exist. That search engine is certainly not accurate because I can
type in several names that I can see on cans (ex: Gamer, Legend, Friend,
Wingman) and it will tell me that they don't exist.

Comment: When I queried on your site: "Did you know that 73.4 % of all statistics
are made up on the spot?", I got no match.
So I searched on Google. The closest I got to a source of that statement
made came from this blog:

http://www.businessinsider.com/736-o...made-up-2010-2

That is a strange way to deal with it, due to the fact that this person
mentioned is a trained statistician! Ha!

The reason that that you did not find the result when searching snopes is that, according to the article, the actual figure is 73.6%.

And we'll work on your inability to understand irony later.

Comment: This Story is completely wrong:
http://www.snopes.com/info/news/wilson.asp

Get your stories straight !!! This is my friend Jim McNeil in 2006 after
he crashed at one of our friends house.

Jim died in November 2011... So thanks you for spreading Bullshit around
the internet. What a disgusting, disgraceful and despicable article you
have chosen to plaster all over the net. How could you guys be happy with
putting this on your website?

Here's the real story that Etnies put out (one out of MANY sponsors he
had). Jim was the best Freestyle Motocross Rider there ever was.

Comment: Article: Drugs Wars - Ebola Vaccine

I have found an inconsistency in your report, on the presence or not of an
Ebola Vaccine.

Quote - 'Some states in the U.S. have enacted regulations requiring
children to undergo specified vaccinations as a prerequisite to public
school attendance,'

Quote - 'there is as yet no vaccine for Ebola.'

How do you explain this inconsistency please. I have read the whole
article which goes on to insist there is no Ebola vaccine.

Comment: Someone hijacked your site and includes it in a forwarded e-mail
to unsuspecting fools of the Conservative Right.

Go here
http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/exemptions.asp
and you'll see what I mean. It was a forwarded e-mail regarding
"dhimmitude" included in the Obamacare bill. I was automatically
suspicious and clicked on the snopes link to see if snopes gave the green
light to the claim.

I went to your site
http://www.snopes.com
and did my own search on "dhimmitude" and found THE TRUTH! I hope you're
aware of this. I'm 67 but most people my age are too lazy and find it
easier to forward "THE LIE" as the e-mail requests rather than be
skeptical?

does an astronaut take food from outside his spacesuit (pouring the wine)
into his mouth?
