Whose arm is on Jesus' left elbow? The kid to His left has both hands in his lap. Is it the hand of the girl just above his elbow like she's hugging His arm?

Also, does Jesus look like the young verson of the "Most Interesting Man in the World"?

I often wonder with all the Jesus glurge going around with the school shooting, how do they reconcile the fact that at least one of the kids was Jewish?

Usually, I can laugh at bad "A Visit from St. Nicholas" pastiche. I can't laugh at this. People died.

You're thinking of Jon McNaughton. That painting in the OP doesn't look like McNaughton's style to me. McNaughton's paintings strongly evoke Soviet era socialist realism to me, which I don't see at all in the OP. The OP painting strikes me as much more traditional North American evangelical art. Also, he's not claiming credit on his website.
