When going to a city where you know you're going to buy a lot of things, it might be a good idea to pack a tote bag. After all, you should know by now that your suitcase is not the Tardis, or Mary Poppins's handbag.

If you need to call the Doctor, bringing his number to work is a good first step.

Probably in part due to Kermor's Tardis reference, I momentarily thought you intended to call The Doctor.

I suspect his method of dealing with my shoulder would be to take me back in time to before I hurt it. That's not particularly helpful.

When you have bought something that comes in a two-pack, it ight be a good idea to keep the cardboard packaging it came into. That way, if the glass container doesn't feature the instructions for heating the contents, you can still get them by reading them on the cardboard. No harm done, but still...

If you have your MLB The Show season set to have the CPU control trades for your team, donít be surprised if one of your best players gets traded.

Don't wait until you run out of your medication to call the pharmacy, especially if the pharmacy has to call the doctor.

If in the morning you puke twice, and go to the toilet some six times to shit water, it would be good idea to call in sick, because the situation won't get better at work. Think about that next time.

Not to mention that whatever you've got, everybody else at work would rather not catch it!

ETA: Hope you're feeling better soon.

I think my housemate caught Kermor's bug, the symptoms sound the same and the poor guy looks terrible. I'm keeping my distance from him ....

D'oh!

It's best to check the entire text alert from work to make sure your department is one of the locations that will be opening two hours late.
Don't stop at the "...open at 9AM".
You assumed and you know what happens when you assume.

If you're not massively hungry, and you have to get up early the next morning, then it's one thing to open a packet of crisps while preparing the meal, and it's another thing to finish the whole pizza against your better judgement (thanks to my added ingredients the base had gone a bit soggy so it wouldn't have been easy to pack it up to eat tomorrow, and I'm away for a few days so couldn't leave it in the fridge).

But doing those things will make you completely stuffed, and so you really shouldn't open a second can of beer just after finishing the pizza, and just when you should really be starting to get ready for bed. You've already eaten too much to sleep well. It's not often I struggle with a beer and regret opening it...

Nobody ever lay on their deathbed saying "I wish I'd spent more time at work."

Get out as soon as you can. Save up the money you need and take another year off.

Not yet, I plan on doing so.

Either that, or "Rosebud". I haven't decided.

Greece, Turkey, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Mongolia, Madagascar, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Egypt, Italy, Portugal, Colombia, Maldives, Chile, Easter Island, Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, Iceland, Papua New Guinea...I mean that's a partial list and it depends on how quickly I run out of money.

TYSHTTY: You set the clocks forward in the spring, not back. Last night I actually went and set all my clocks back one hour. I realized my mistake after I'd gone to bed, but of course I didn't want to get up and fix it right then, so this morning I had to set all my clocks forward two hours to correct my mistake.

TYSHTTY2: Saint Patrick's Day is next Sunday, not today. For some reason all week I was thinking that today was St. Patrick's Day, so I bought the stuff to make shepherd's pie, my usual meal for that day. Now I have to figure out something else to make today. I know there's really nothing wrong with just having shepherd's pie today, but I'd really rather just save that for next weekend.

Remember, itís Spring Forward, Fall Back

One of the more useless mnemonics because it totally works the other way around.

Fall forward, Spring back
