Icon86 Man arrested for rubbing produce on his butt

He said it was a joke that he intended to put on YouTube.

I don't carrot what anyone says, this is just plain immature.

Time for veggie puns!

Lettuce be fair, you cannot judge a man for every immature thing he does now, can we?

Throw Tomato

I know he says it was a joke and no big dill, but letís not beet around the bush. There isn't mushroom for humor in the complicated maize of the legal system. Further charges may turnip: I heard he not only rubbed things on his butt, but also took a leek.

I don't want to squash the punning before it really gets going**, but I have a serious question.

Was it really necessary to destroy multiple pallets of vegetables? You certainly want to destroy the ones he touched and any other in the same area. But multiple pallets* would probably encompass pretty much anything out there. I mean, everything on display is probably one or two crates and a pallet would be 10-12 crates. Unless they mean that they destroyed 2-3 crates of 10 or so items, which ended up being the equivalent of multiple pallets worth.

Also, I'm betting they were not "destroyed" so much as "thrown out". Big win for the dumpster divers.

* I assume they mean pallets-worth of produce as it was probably the produce already on display.
ETA: ** Too late

Lets be honest here. Are they assuming (no pun intended) he may have rubbed the entire produce section on his butt? And not to be gross, but unless he's a very unhygienic person (and he doesn't seem to be) are his his buttocks any worse than the many things those pallets of vegetables may have touched between farm and supermarket? Or even the hands of many, many customers who paw through those veggies? For God's sake just wash them!

While it is probably not the first rutabaga thinks about, dumpster diving is probably a better way to get food than panhandling.
