DISH, Texas sold out for a decade of free television and a DVR for residents. However, there are plenty of towns named after single, seemingly unrelated words (including Hell, Michigan, which not-so-famously freezes over) so "Dish, Texas" really doesn't strike me as that odd, where as a name with ".com" in it would really stick out as an advertisement (all IMO, of course).
