OP looks more like an assignment submitted during the fiction writer's course at the community center.

She then picked up a picture she had framed of Obama and did a little happy dance around her living room and while she kissed the picture she was singing "Thank you Obama.... thank you Obama."
You've really got to wonder if they expect anyone except for their fellow Kool-Aid drinkers to buy that. It reads like something wingnuts wish would happen because it would justify their disdain for Obama and anyone who voted for him.

With the computerized records that most counties now use, the new record owner would show the on the recorder and auditor's records within 24 hours.

Also, IME short sales aren't always "forgiving" the loan. The deficiency balance will end up as a judgment lien against the person, who now has new property that the lien will fall against.

ETA: Also, a Section 8 voucher does not make the house you want to live in a Section 8 property. The house and landlord have to go through a pretty rigorous process to become Section 8 compliant.

Tzarina, regarding your ETA, I thought that was the case as well. And I've read/heard that there are often long waiting lists for Section 8 housing. Since these are single-family homes, not shared housing or something, I would think that you couldn't get it designated as Section 8 housing and then hold it for your sister to live in. (But I admit I don't know the details there).

I agree. My MIL was a broker, and had Section 8 properties at one time. The process is not an easy one, and you have to take the next person on the list, not just anyone.

Yea aside from all the absurdity in the story itself (like the dancing) do people really believe that liberals who are in the middle of engaging in some plot to defraud somebody else would just brag about it to whomever they run across? Saw the same thing in the person who was buying a fancy car and was on welfare via fraud and bragging about how she did it.

The housing authority in Columbus hasn't even opened its list to new applicants since 2006.

That, at least, would fit in with the image of the welfare cheat rubbing everyone's nose in hir (usually her) fraud, knowing the rest of us can't do anything about it because Obama wants it that way.
