Default False "shooter" report at "Hamilton" performance

You probably read about the panic at a San Francisco performance of Hamilton.

Our son Jonathan was in SF on business and was there in the audience. He told us at lunch today that he heard a woman scream and thought "medical emergency." He did not hear the subsequent shouts of " gun! " Jonathan kept his head, but he has never seen such an ugly scramble. Three people were trampled badly enough to be taken for treatment. He saw a couple more who were bloody but ambulatory.

As it turned out, he was right - a woman on the far side of the auditorium from him suffered a cardiac event, and that started the panic. We're glad he didn't get caught in the stampede. Old-timers may remember him as the poster Macheath.

I'm going to be attending the San Francisco production of Hamilton next month, so that hits kind of close to home.
